- Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Kemper Appliance. By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from the Kemper Appliance website (the “Site”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy and Return Policy.
Important: If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this Site. Any fraudulent activity, including misrepresenting your identity, using buying agents, or tampering with the Site’s functionality, is strictly prohibited and may result in the termination of your access.
- Intellectual Property and Site Access
- Ownership
All content hosted on this Site—including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software—is the exclusive property of Kemper Appliance or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.
- Limited License
Kemper Appliance grants you a limited, revocable license to access and make personal use of this Site. This license does not include the right to:
- Resell or use the Site for commercial purposes.
- Collect or use product listings, descriptions, or pricing for competitive analysis.
- Use data mining, robots, or similar data extraction tools.
- Frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose any trademark or logo without express written consent.
- Use meta tags or hidden text utilizing the Kemper Appliance name.
Any unauthorized use automatically terminates the permissions granted by Kemper Appliance.
- Product Accuracy and Display
- Images and Colors
We strive to display product images as accurately as possible. However, manufacturers sometimes provide alternate images when specific ones are unavailable. Furthermore, because every monitor displays color differently, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your screen matches the actual product finish. Note: Always verify your purchase by reading the product specifications rather than relying solely on images. Kemper Appliance is not responsible for discrepancies between the image and the actual product.
- Typographical and Pricing Errors
Despite our best efforts, pricing or description errors may occur. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information:
- Kemper Appliance reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders, even if the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.
- If your card was charged and the order is canceled, we will issue a credit to your account.
- Pricing and availability are subject to change without notice.
- Order Acceptance and Payment
- Order Processing
Receiving an electronic order confirmation does not signify our final acceptance of your order or constitute a binding offer to sell. Kemper Appliance reserves the right to accept, decline, or limit your order for any reason after receipt.
- Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.
- Other: Zelle, Checks, Money Orders, Purchase Orders, and Wire Transfers.
- Financing: Third Party Credit financing may be available for qualified customers.
Timing of Charges: Generally, credit/debit cards are charged when the order ships. However, we may place a pre-authorization hold on your funds at the time of purchase to verify credit availability. Special Order items are charged immediately upon placement and cannot be canceled.
- Checks and Delays
If paying by check, please allow 5-7 business days for the funds to clear before your order is processed for shipping.
- Credit Card Declines
If your payment is declined, we will attempt to contact you via phone or email. You must provide an alternative payment method within 14 business days, or your order will be canceled.
- Anti-Fraud and Verification Policy
To protect our customers and our business from identity theft and fraud, we employ strict verification protocols.
- Mismatched Addresses (Domestic)
If your shipping address differs from your billing address, you must list the shipping address as an “alternate address” with your credit card issuer.
- If this is not verified, your order will be placed on hold.
- You have 14 business days to rectify this, after which the order will be canceled.
- First-time customers may be asked to provide scanned copies of the credit card and a state-issued ID, or verify a small temporary authorization charge.
- Shipping and Delivery
- Processing Times
Processing times depend on merchandise availability and payment verification. We do not process or ship orders on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) or holidays.
- Delays and Backorders
If an item is backordered or delayed, we will attempt to notify you via email or phone. You will typically be given the option to wait, select a substitute item, or cancel the order.
- Sales Tax
In compliance with state laws, Kemper Appliance collects sales tax for orders shipping to the California state tax. The estimated tax will be calculated at checkout.
- Price Match Policy
If you find a lower price on an identical, in-stock item from another authorized dealer, contact us before your order ships.
- Requirements: The competitor’s price must be verifiable in writing and include all costs (shipping, handling, delivery, taxes, and rebates).
- Exclusions: We do not match bonuses, financing offers, clearance/closeout prices, open-box/used items, service contracts, or installation fees.
- Limitations: This policy does not apply to parts or accessories and cannot be combined with other discounts.
- Timing: Price matching is only available prior to shipping. We cannot match prices once an order has left our facility.
- Return Policy
If a product does not meet your needs, you may return it under the following strict conditions:
- Return Window and Authorization
- You must contact customer service to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number before sending any item back. Returns without an RA will be refused.
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
- Fees and Conditions
- Restocking Fee: All returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
- Condition: Items must be returned in brand-new condition with all original packaging, literature, and blank warranty cards.
- Shipping Costs: Original and return shipping charges are non-refundable. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns on:
- Special Order items.
- Accessories or parts.
- Damage Reporting (Critical Policy)
It is vital that you inspect your merchandise immediately upon delivery.
- Refusal: If a shipment arrives visibly damaged, do not accept it. Refuse the delivery.
- Reporting Window: If you accept the item and discover damage later, or if the product does not meet your needs, you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt.
- Liability: Once you sign for and accept the item, you assume responsibility for all damage claims.
- Defects: If a product proves defective after the first use, please contact the manufacturer directly for warranty service.
- Modifications
Kemper Appliance reserves the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Site generally constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
